Winding Road Bali Bag
Our bags are hand crafted by master weavers working from their homes in the Tenganan Village in Eastern Bali. These talented women possess skills that have been passed down and perfected over many generations. After the vine is woven, each bag is cured over a fire of coconut shells for a week. The heat and smoke from the fire gives the bags their golden color and slightly smoky smell. This curing process makes them very durable- the locals say will last one hundred years!
